Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko in Portland is our new go-to spot for sweet treats! The matcha soft serve is creamy and not too bitter, and my kid went crazy for the cute teddy bear-shaped matcha dessert. The staff was super friendly, and the vibe is cozy with that adorable anime cat decor. Will definitely be back for more matcha drinks and soft serve combos!
As a matcha fanatic, I’ve been searching for the perfect spot in Portland—and Maiko is it! The hojicha soft serve has the most rich, toasty flavor, and the layered matcha drinks are so pretty (and tasty) for Instagram. The flavor variety is impressive, and every bite/drink felt high-quality. Clean space, quick service, 100% recommend for fellow matcha lovers!
I live nearby and have visited Maiko multiple times now—never a bad experience! The matcha-white swirl soft serve is my absolute favorite, and the staff always remembers my order. It’s such a charming little cafe with great ambiance, perfect for a post-shopping pick-me-up or a lazy afternoon with friends. Portland is lucky to have this gem of a matcha spot!
